Lamborghini to come out of the company’s production line in northeastern Italy. To celebrate the partnership between the two iconic brands, the carmaker created the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition. The special-edition car, which will be available in Coupé and Roadster versions, will be limited to fewer than 100 models imported to North America this year.
While the car retains all of its technical elements—including a carbon-fiber monocoque, a 700-hp V-12 engine, and permanent all-wheel drive—it also features exclusive equipment designed by the Lamborghini Centro Stile. Each car will have a Pirelli Serie Speciale plaque inside, as well as a transparent engine hood, glossy black Dione rims, and P Zero tires with red calipers. The exterior paint will be available in multiple two-tone, color-scheme options, and all of them will have a thin red stripe running along the exterior to reflect Pirelli branding; the striping continues inside the car along the ceiling and on the seats, which have the Lamborghini and Pirelli crests embroidered in red.

The Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition can be ordered now from dealers, with delivery scheduled for early summer. The car is reported to cost upwards of $400,000.

The New De Bethune DB25 Quetzalcoatl Art Watch Pays Tribute to Aztec Culture

The New De Bethune DB25 Quetzalcoatl Art Watch Pays Tribute to Aztec Culture

The new De Bethune DB25 Quetzalcoatl is the latest addition to the
 Swiss ШУУД ҮЗЭХ watchmaker’s

collection of horological homages to ancient culture, joining 2012’s Ninth Mayan Underworld and 2013’s DB25 Imperial Fountain watches. Named after the mythical feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl, believed to symbolize unity and govern the cycle of time in Mesoamerican culture, the watch features a solid-gold dial crafted by the engraver Michelle Rothen. The dial depicts a stylized aerial view of the Aztec ruins at Tenochtitlan, Mexico, with the stepped structures representing hour indices; the Quetzalcoatl coiled at the center, also sculpted from solid gold, constantly shape-shifts as its head marks the hours and its tail the minutes. The watch face’s guilloche motif and micro-light finish lend the dial a dimension of depth.
Equally impressive mechanically, the DB25 Quetzalcoatl contains De Bethune’s in-house, hand-wound Calibre DB2005 movement, which features a low-friction silicon escape wheel and a proprietary shock-absorption system that ensures the watch remains precise when exposed to the stresses of everyday life. Self-regulating twin barrels provide an impressive six-day power reserve. The DB25 Quetzalcoatl is limited to just 20 pieces worldwide and is priced at $120,000.

When creating the lobby and the residential interiors at the Baccarat Hotel & Residences in Midtown Manhattan,
the ШУУД ҮЗЭХ New York–based

designer Tony Ingrao relied on a crystal-clear concept: “We used as many surfaces as possible that would play with light reflection—an homage,” he says, “to a crystal company that has been reflecting light for 250 years.
” Naturally, each of the Baccarat tower’s 60 residences (model designed by Stephen Sills) boasts a Baccarat chandelier in the foyer and handles inlaid with Baccarat crystal on the ziricote wood entry doors. It was a challenge, Ingrao says, “given the constraints of [the tower’s] central elevator core, to still create grand spaces in a contemporary structure.” Floor-to-ceiling windows help to enhance the sense of an expansive maison in the clouds, as do ceiling heights of 14 feet on some floors and 20 feet in the penthouse. In addition to spectacular views, owners enjoy 24-hour concierge service and priority reservations at the hotel’s restaurant, as well as access to its 10,000-square-foot La Mer spa and 55-foot-long crystalline swimming pool. —Jorge S. DIY Fairy Glow Jars: Make Perfect Night Lights!

If you’ve got kids you know that sometimes the dark can get quite scary for them. To help ease them to sleep at night, make
sure ШУУД ҮЗЭХ they have a

night light. This is a neat way to make your own glow in the dark night light in whatever color they prefer! All you need is water, a jar and glow sticks.
Warning: Glow sticks are dangerous and poisonous so do not let your children play with them on their own or during the process of making these.

The recipe for this glowing jar is:
  1. Find great jars
  2. Fill said jars with water
  3. Buy a batch of glow sticks, and carefully! Glow sticks can be poisonous and dangerous. Take the broken glow sticks and mix them into each container.
These would be amazing for a little boy or little girl’s room!

Here’s another easy way to create a glowing jars but a more adult version:

The picture above uses highlighter liquid and fake plants/animals. Let the highlighter and water sit overnight and then take out the highlighter insides out of the water which leaves you with glowing liquid.

These fairy or firefly jars are super easy to make as well! Cut open the glow stick and shake it into the jar, add diamond glitter and shake it all up…TA DA!
